I’ve been in the roofing trade for over 20 years, and what’s kept me here is a genuine love for the craft. Roofing challenges you - every site is different, every detail matters, and that’s what I enjoy most.

As co-founder of Metalhartt, I work alongside Tyler and Ryan to lead the team and make sure every project meets the standard we’re proud to stand behind. For me, it’s about more than just the end result, it’s about building trust with the people we work with and supporting the crew who make it all happen.

Outside of work you’ll usually find me outdoors - hiking, snowboarding, or at home adding to my art collection.

DIRECTOR

I didn’t know what I wanted to do when I left school, so Mum encouraged me into a building apprenticeship - one of the best decisions I’ve made. After finishing, I had the chance to work on a re-roofing contract in Fiji with my brother Blake and (unknowingly at the time) our future GM, Ryan. When we came back to New Zealand in 2016, Metalhartt was born.

These days I’m mostly behind the scenes, pricing jobs, scheduling work, and making sure everything runs smoothly. I take real satisfaction in giving clients a full-service experience from that first phone call through to handover. What I’m most proud of is the team we’ve built over the past eight years, their skill and commitment is what drives our success.

Away from work, you’ll usually find me playing sports or at the bach in Whangamatā.

GENERAL MANAGER

As the General Manager of our roofing company, I bring a decade of expertise in the industry. With a strong foundation cultivated in the UK, my experience spans diverse roofing projects, ranging from Historic Listed Buildings utilising traditional construction techniques, to 132kV Electrical Substations where Health & Safety Management is paramount.

Committed to delivering excellence, I lead our team in providing top-tier roofing solutions with a proven track record of quality craftsmanship.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Meet Bex the organizational backbone of Metalhartt. As the Operations Manager, she brings efficiency and a warm touch to our workplace. Bex plays a pivotal role in our team whether it's resolving logistical challenges or addressing day-to-day hiccups.

Her dedication to creating an organised and supportive environment reflects in every aspect of her role, contributing to the overall success of our business.

PROJECT MANAGER

I joined the Metalhartt team in early 2019, with an extensive knowledge in the construction industry. Throughout my career I have worked on numerous projects ranging from historical churches to new build developments. My focus has always been on providing high-quality results and enjoy the challenging situations the job brings.

Outside of work, I prioritize spending quality time with my partner and two sons, recognising the importance of a balanced and fulfilling personal life.

PROJECT MANAGER

 I have been with the company for over 7.5 years, one of the longest-standing team members. With more than 18 years of roofing experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. I began my journey on the tools and have since progressed into a Project Manager role. Outside of work, I’m a dedicated family man with two children.

I pride myself on being hardworking, approachable, and a committed member of the team.

PROJECT MANAGER

I joined Metalhartt Roofing in early 2025 to support and strengthen the project management team. With over 15 years’ experience in long-run roofing across both residential and commercial projects, I’m passionate about delivering durable, high-quality finishes.

I bring extensive knowledge of metal roofing systems and industry best practices, managing each project from start to finish with a focus on safety, detail, and clear communication. My goal is always to exceed client expectations and ensure every job runs smoothly and on time.

Outside of work, I enjoy family time, fishing with friends, and BBQs.

Hi, I’m Roizen. I’m really happy to be part of the team at Metalhart Roofing. I’ve been working in the roofing industry for several years now, gaining experience in both residential and commercial projects.

Over the years, I’ve learned the importance of doing every job with care, attention to detail, and teamwork. I take pride in producing quality work and always doing my best to make sure every project is completed safely and to a high standard. I’m looking forward to learning more, improving my skills and contributing to the team.

I’ve been with Metalhartt for five years, working in both roofing and logistics. I like keeping things running smoothly and making sure every job’s done right. Whether it’s a small repair or a big install, I always do my best to make sure our customers are happy with our work.
